Rick Martinez is editor of Group Tour Media, publisher of Group Tour Magazine, Student Group Tour magazine, Spotlight e-magazine and affiliated websites and niche and custom publications focused on the group travel industry.
A Ball State University graduate who has done graduate studies at Grand Valley State University, he has worked in communications and the news media in various roles.
An Indiana native and former New Hampshire resident, Rick currently lives in Jenison, Mich.
The married father of three is a news media, political, sports and travel junkie. He enjoys hanging out with family and friends, his faith, giving back to his community and alma mater, following his daughter’s Jenison Senior High School marching band and tennis teams, rooting for Ball State and all Boston pro teams (except the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings and MSL’s Chicago Fire), jazz music, good food and wine and reading for recreation when he can.
